Abstract: | The paper presents the features of applying the scanning electron microscopy method for studying the anisotropy of the pore
space of carbonate rocks in oil and gas reservoirs. The results of studies into the horizontal anisotropy of the microstructure
and pore space are presented. The significance of the pore space horizontal anisotropy for filtration properties, which should
be taken into account during the development of 3D-hydrodynamic models of hydrocarbon deposits, has been experimentally found
for rocks with a complex structure. |
