| Abstract: | The all optical amplifiers with wider gain bandwidth is required because of the increasing wide bandwidth traffic and the development of DWDM Fiber Raman amplifiers which have the characters of amplifying any wavelength, have been widely researched The study results of Raman amplifiers' characters and applications in wide bandwidth communication in recent years are described and summarized, and the prospect of Raman amplifiers is discussed |
