| Abstract: | This paper shows how the genetic algorithm can be used to optimize the job shop scheduling problem. According to the characteristic of JSSP,a mutation function is proposed,and a secondary encoding is used to decrease the invalid schedule. Simulation results illustrate the efficiency of this method. |
