Methods for Optimizing Properties of Polymer Electrolytes Intended for Lithium Batteries

Abstract:New plasticized polymer electrolytes, based on chlorinated derivatives of polyvinyl chloride, are studied by infrared and impedance spectroscopy. Morphological and electrochemical properties of the electrolytes depend on the nature of the lithium salt and liquid plasticizer and on the technology. Galvanostatic cycling data for lithium batteries based on Li-LiMn2O4 and Li-V6O13 and these electrolytes are presented.
