| Abstract: | The Expressions for the moment of inertia of a rigid body about an arbitrary axis passing through the center of mass are obtained by the element addition method.Some significant aspects,such as the effects of geometric symmetry on the moment of inertia and the geometric equivalence concerned with the moment of inertia, are discussed. |
