A DISCUSSION ON A CLASS OF EXPLICIT LINEAR MULTISTEP METHODS WITH DIFFERENCE PERTURBATION TERMS

Abstract:This paper presents a class of explicit linear multistep methods with differenceperturbation terms, and the convergence of this methods is shown. The stability of the firstorder method and a family of the second order methods is discussed. The conclusion we arrivedat is that they can be applied to solutions of stiff ordinary differential equations.
