Abstract:In the process of signal transmission, the high peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) will cause the power amplifier to operate in the nonlinear region and distort the signal after amplification. In this paper, a new approach of generating base sequence with low peak-to-average power ratio is proposed for the existing physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) in 3rd Generation Partnership Project(3GPP) protocol when DFT-S-OFDM waveform transmission is adopted and demodulation reference signal (DMRS) sequence length is less than 30. Meanwhile, the coverage range and anti-interference ability of DMRS are also considered as search conditions. Therefore, when searching sequences, we firstly consider and search according to the sequence''s own attributes, namely the sequence''s autocorrelation value and PAPR value. Then, the cross-correlation between sequences and other sequences is taken as search condition to enhance the anti-interference ability of DMRS signals. Finally, through the final search of demodulation performance in the communication system, the sequence with relatively good demodulation performance is selected. Compared with the existing base sequence, the proposed base sequences have obvious advantages in PAPR value and auto-correlation, and also in performance of cross-correlation and demodulation.
