| Abstract: | Ketone semicarbazones react with two moles of phosphorus oxychloride-dimethylformamide with the formation of 3-substituted pyrazole-4-carboxaldehydes. Aldehyde semicarbazones give, with one mole of phosphorus oxychloride-dimethylformamide, amidazines. |
