Abstract: | The termination effect follows from the limited range of integration by the Sinustransformation of an experimental intensity to the radial distribution function. Especially the termination effect disturbs the calculation of the coordination numbers. Additionally the secondary maxima falsify the radial distribution curve and aggravate its understanding. An algorithm is given which delivers for the maxima of a radial distribution function peak position, coordination number and fluctuation width. By humps with great fluctuation width an existing asymmetry can be calculated. |
