Abstract: | The first (6,8)-connected self-penetrating metal-organic framework has been constructed using an asymmetric neutral ligand based on dinuclear zinc clusters, as six-connected nodes, and trinuclear zinc clusters as eight-connected nodes, representing the highest-connected binodal network topology presently known for self-penetrating systems. |
