A note on minimal directed graphs with given girth |

| Abstract: | Caccetta and Häggkvist conjectured that the minimum order of a directed graph with girth g and outdegree not less than r is r(g − 1) + 1. They proved this conjecture for r = 2. We prove it for r = 3. |
