| Abstract: | Earlier unknown (R)- and (S)-α-methylspermidine, (R)- and (S)-α-methylspermine, (R,R)-, (S,S)-, and (R,S)-α,ω-dimethylspermine were synthesized in gram scale from readily available (R)- and (S)-2-aminopropanols in high overall yields. |
