| Abstract: | In a fluidized bed, the stabilized pitch spheres,which were prepared from coal tar pitch,were carbonized,then activated with water vapor.Pitch based spherical activated carbon(PSAC) with specific surface area of 1000-2000m2/g was finally obtained.The effects of activation temperature,activation time as well as composition of activating agent were investigated.The elemental analysis,surface area and pore size of PSAC were determined.Its adsorptive property was preliminarily studied. |
