| Abstract: | Biologically triggered exploding microcapsules were synthesized by layer-by-layer assembly of biopolymers. The microcapsules showed controlled rupturing behaviour upon exposure to a pathologically relevant biomolecule, trypsin. These microcapsules offer significant potential for clinical applications. |
