Composition of partially metastable Kr Beams |

| Abstract: | The fraction of ground-state atoms is determined experimentally and theoretically for Kr beams consisting of a mixture of ground-state and metastable atoms. The beams were formed by charge transfer of Kr+ at several keV in Cs vapor. |
