The Investigation of the Coverage Scheme of High Speed Railway Wireless TD-LTE Network

It is difficult to realize the coverage of TD-LTE network within a train cabin mainly due to the high speed of the train and the high penetration losses from the cabin of the train. The two key issues are the solution for the Doppler frequency shift and instant switching. This paper analyzes the challenges of the wireless network coverage in the high- speed railways and proposes a feasible scheme for the coverage of 4G wireless network.
