| Abstract: | In 2005 the ALICE experiment will start at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN. It will investigate hot and dense strongly interacting matter formed in heavy ion collisions. The photon spectrometer of the ALICE detector will be designed to identify direct photons. To optimize the detector, simulations will be carried out. |
