| Abstract: | On the basis of established mathematical model for the force analysis in planar mechanisms in the presence of frictional forces,this paper points out that the mathematical model is a probem of nonlinear equations,which require solutions.All of the three existing iterative methods are discussed and their shortcomings pointed out.Moreover,this paper demonstrates the new non iterative linearizing method. |
