| Abstract: | An enhancement of the restricted Additive Schwarz (RAS) preconditioning, based on the Aitken's acceleration of the convergence of the Schwarz method, is proposed. Its numerical performance is compared with the RAS preconditioning on the two dimensional Helmholtz problem. |
