Abstract:
The structural and ferroelectric characteristics of SrBi2(Nb1−xWx)2O9 (x=0–0.12) ferroelectric ceramics were investigated. SrBi2(Nb1−xWx)2O9 ceramics consisted of a single-phase layered perovskite structure when x was less than 0.06. Uniform microstructure and grain size reduction were observed after the introduction of W. The maximum remanent polarization of 16 μC/cm2 appeared at x=0.03, and the coercive field decreased with increasing concentration of W. The ferroelectric behavior of SrBi2(Nb1−xWx)2O9 ceramics is interpreted based on the Raman measurement.
