| Abstract: | Summary We consider a temperature conduction problem with slab symmetry, in which the temperature and heat flux on the right hand surface are unknown; the right hand surface is thermically insulated and its temperature is approximately measurable. The above problem can be seen as an ill posed problem for the heat equation. Several stabilized versions are studied, moreover discretized versions and numerical results are given.

Si studia un problema di conduzione del calore attraverso un muro in cui temperatura e flusso del calore sulla faccia destra sono incogniti; la faccia sinistra è termicamente isolata e se ne può misurare approssimativamente la temperatura. Questo problema si traduce in un problema mal posto per l'equazione del calore. Varie stabilizzazioni sono studiate e analizzate; sono date inoltre versioni discretizzate del problema e alcuni risultati numerici. |
