Abstract: | The structure of the optimum supersonic contour of an axisymmetric Laval nozzle is investigated within the framework of the
nonequilibrium polydisperse two-phase flow model. In formulating the variational problem attention is focused on taking into
account a restriction that makes it possible to construct an optimum contour with no or limited particle fall out.
