Abstract: | Several Co and Fe and mixed Co, Fe molydates have been studied by Mössbauer spectroscopy at 360–415°C in a flow C3H6+O2+N2 100/100/560 Torr, with and without adding Bi2 (MoO4)3. It is concluded that cobalt stabilizes Fe2+ sites and Bi2(MoO4)3 stabilizes Fe3+ in solid solution and it is proposed that Fe2+?Fe3+ pairs act as active sites in propene mild oxidation. |
