Effect of illumination on a dielectric nonlinearity in Cr-doped SBN-75 single crystal

The dielectric nonlinearity in an SBN-75 single crystal doped with 0.01 at % Cr was investigated in the vicinity of a diffuse phase transition by studying the reverse dielectric dependences ε′(E ₌). The influence of illumination and exposure (aging) on the behavior of ε′(E ₌) was demonstrated. A reduction in the dielectric memory effect after sample illumination was detected.
