| Abstract: | Colloidally dispersed niobium oxide nanosheets obtained by exfoliation of layered niobates HNb(3)O(8) and HTiNbO(5) formed stable liquid crystalline phases; their liquid crystallinity was dependent on the niobate species exfoliated. |
