| Abstract: | Using the graphic depiction of the electric field and the actual measurement the influence of edge effect of a parallel plate capacitor on measurement result of the capacitance is considered and corrected. Thus the measurement result of permittivity of the dielectric like textile fabrics can also be corrected by the alternating electric bridge method. |
