| Abstract: | This paper is devoted to a non-commutative generalization of a classical result occurring in the context of the modular representation theory of the symmetric group. We prove that a non-commutative Schur ribbon function RI is annihilated by the quasi-differential operator DPk if and only if the composition I is the external border of a k-core. |
