| Abstract: | A direct emission spectrographic method for determination of the trace non-rare earth elements(Mn, Sn, Sb, Bi, B, V, Co, Ni, Cr, Pband Zn) in terbium oxide has been developed. Orthogonal design was applied for the optimization of excitation conditions. NaCl and In were used as carrier and as internal standard respectively. The samples were excited in D. C. arc under controlled atmosphere of Ar and O_2. The lowest concentrations of determination for different elements range from 1 to 5 ppm. |
