Abstract:Fluorine-containing N,N-alkylidene bisamides RCH(NHCORf)2 (R: H, Aryl; Rf: CF3, CF2Cl, 2,6-C6H3F2) are conveniently prepared in good yields by the reaction of corresponding aldehydes with fluorine-containing amides (RfCONH2) in the presence of fluoroalkanesulfonic acids Rf′SO3H(Rf′: CF3, HCF2CF2, ICF2CF2OCF2CF2).
