| 摘 要： | 湘西方块苗文是湖南湘西苗族地区使用的一种文字，对该文字的机器识别还几乎处于空白状态.预处理是整个文字图像识别过程的前提，其处理的效果将直接影响到文字图像特征提取和识别的效果.采用加权平均法对湘西方块苗文图像进行灰度化，采用Ostu算法对其进行二值化处理，基于同态滤波和改进的中值滤波相结合的方法对其进行平滑和归一化，得到适于湘西方块苗文图像预处理的方法，为后续的湘西方块苗文识别研究提供基础.

| Abstract: | Hmong characters in Xiangxi is used in the Hmong area of Xiangxi.But there is still a research gap for its machine identification.The pretreatment of Hmong character images is a prerequisite for the identification and it will directly influence the effect of image characteristic extraction and identification.The pretreatment proposed involves graying of character images through weighted average method,binarization through Ostu algorithm,and image smoothing and uniformization based on the combination of Homomorphic and the improved median filtering.This pretreatment constitutes the basis for the image identification of Hmong characters in Xiangxi. |
