摘    要:水文模型始终是水文科学研究的重要手段与方法之一。数字高程模型(DEM)是构成GIS的基础数据,利用DEM可以提取流域的许多重要水文特征参数。通过对DEM流域水文特征信息提取的基本原理与实现手段的研究,应用地理信息系统软件ArcGIS 9.3所提供的水文分析工具箱实现了流域水文特征信息的提取。通过提取结果与原始区域影像图的对比,证实通过DEM数据提取的流域水文特征信息与实际河流水系特征基本吻合。因此,应用DEM提取流域水文特征信息的方法是可行且有效的。

Abstract:The hydrology model is always one of the most important research means throughout the water science. The digital elevation model (DEM) constitutes the essential data of GIS and many important hydrology characteristic parameters can be extracted using DEM data. Through the study of basic princi- ples and the achieving means about hydrological feature information extraction based on DEM, hydrolog- ical feature information extraction is implemented using hydrological analysis toolbox which is provided by the geographic information system software of ArcGIS 9.3. By the comparition of extraction results with the original image map area, it is confirmed that hydrological feature information which is extracted by using DEM is similar to the actual feature information. As a result, the method of extracting basin hydrology characteristic information by using DEM is feasible and effective.
