| Abstract: | The nonstationary problem on the axisymmetric antiplane deformation of a hollow cylinder due to a longitudinal impact on the
end of the rigid cylindrical shell is considered. The solution of the boundary-value problem is reduced to a system of Volterra
integral equations of the second kind. A numerical analysis is carried out and its results are plotted.
