Abstract: | A hexapeptide motif, RKLPDA, that recognizes the surface of titanium was identified from a peptide phage selection. Mutational analyses showed electrostatic interaction was a major factor in the binding, paving a new way to modify the surface of Ti with active biomolecules. |
