| Abstract: | The cesium band traveling in an ion exchange column filled with Dowex 50X8 resin has been studied during elution with hydrochloric
acid under different conditions. The dependence of the rate of band motion on the separation factor and on the flow rate of
the eluent is given. Also the temperature dependence and the acid concentration dependence of the separation factor is shown. |
