| Abstract: | The stability of dilute aqueous kraft lignin dispersions in a near-isoelectric state of its particles (pH 2) is studied in the temperature range of 0?C20°C. An extremal temperature dependence with a minimum in the region of 10°C is revealed for the stability. It is assumed that, in the examined temperature range, the observed effect is due to variations in the surface forces and a possible influence of the morphology of aggregates being formed on their sedimentation. |
