| Abstract: | Starting with this issue, the Chemical Record will publish one or two special issues annually centered on special topics. As chemistry becomes increasingly interdisciplinary, bioorganic studies dealing with bioactive ligands necessarily result in accounting for their mode of action or more molecular biological aspects. The articles in this issue are from leading research groups addressing the dynamic aspects of bioactive compounds. Such studies, central in advancing our understanding of Nature, would not have been possible until recent years. |
