| 摘 要： | 约翰·福尔斯是英国当代著名作家,他的著作《法国中尉的女人》是一部内容丰富的元小说,体现了小说与当时的历史社会文化生活背景之间、与其他文本之间、以及同传统小说创作方法的互文性关系,同时,正是因为有对传统文本的思考,才使该作品具有了超时代的吸引力。

| Abstract: | In this essay, intertextuality in the French Lieutenant's Woman is analysed in detail to provide a new angle to understand this metafiction and also to emphasize the importance of the relationship between the studied text and feminist movement, Cinderella story and traditional writing method. What's more, the author's meditation on the traditional text results in the attraction of this novel. |
