Abstract:The method of determination of tartrazine in the cornmeal steamed bread by HPLC was established. The analysis column was Symmetry Shield RPls (3.9 mmx 150 mm, 5 Ixm) , the mobile phase consisted of ammonium acetate and methanol (vol- ume ratio was 18:72 ), the flow rate was 0.6 mL/min and the detection wavelength was 254 nm. Samples components were extracted by mobile phase directly,and then analyzed by HPLC. The RSD was 2.2% (n = 7), and the average recovery was 96.0% -97.2%. This method meets detection requirement.
