Abstract: | Perfluoroalkylated Acids of Phosphorus. II. On Trifluoromethyl Benzene Phosphinic Acid Bis-(trifluoromethyl-benzene) phosphinic acid anhydride 1 , easily formed by CF3COOH and C6H5PCl2, yields on reaction with aqueous Na2CO3 solution the sodium salt of trifluoromethyl benzene phosphinic acid 2 . The acid itself is isolated by ion exchange as a hygroscopic and highly acidic substance. |
