Interaction of nitrogen monoxide with alumina-iron oxide catalysts in chemisorption-regeneration regime

IR spectroscopy and thermodesorption have been used to study the surface reactions taking place in chemisorption of NO and NO +02 mixtures on alumina-iron oxide catalysts and palladized alumina-iron oxide catalysts, as well as the reactions that take place upon subsequent heating of these catalysts in helium or in the presence of hydrogen.
