| Abstract: | In this paper, the law of energy conservation in conservative vibration system is used to formulate the method which determines the damping function in the differential equation of motion of the vibration system. Then the result of phase plane on the boundary curve may be obtained, which coincides with the result from the differential equation of motion in conservative system. |
