Intensity decrease of the Rayleigh scattered light in a critical mixture of cyclohexane-methanol was observed in the temperature range $\text{1 × 10}{}^{\mathrm{?4}}\text{? ? ≡ ∣T - T}{}_{\mathrm{c}}\text{∣}\text{T}{}_{\mathrm{c}}\text{? 4 × 10}{}^{\mathrm{?2}}$ with ac electric field applied.
