On the trapping rate of positrons in deformed lead over the temperature range 4–100 K

Abstract:The trapping of positrons in annealed and plastically deformed samples of lead has been studied over the temperature range 4–100 K. The rate of trapping by defects has been found to be independent of temperature — a finding that supports the golden rule positron trapping model.
