On a difference scheme of exponential type for a nonlinear singular perturbation problem

Summary A difference scheme of exponential type for solving a nonlinear singular perturbation problem is analysed. Although this scheme is not of monotone type, aL ¹ convergence result is obtained. Relations between this scheme and Engquist-Osher scheme are also discussed.
