Abstract: | A copper-selective electrode was used to investigate ternary copper—nitrilotriacetic acid complexes by means of combined pH and pM measurements. The theory presented for the evaluation of the stability of mixed-ligand complexes is based on the conditional constants. The emphasis is on the formation of 1:1:1 complexes of the type copper(II)—NTA—(hydroxide, amino acid, ammonia, triphosphate). |
