| Abstract: | Summary The efficiency of high-performance liquid chromatography columns packed with 5  m and 3 m reverse-phase octadecylsilane packing materials has been evaluated using four test mixtures. Both stopped flow and valve injection have been used and typical efficiencies are given. |
