Abstract:A new coumarin glycoside lariside — C21H26O13, mp 155–156°C (from methanol) — has been isolated from the epigeal part ofSalsola laricifolia Turcz. et Litw. On the basis of acid hydrolysis and spectral characteristics the structure of lariside has been established as 7-O-beta-D-apiofuranosyl-(1 rarr 2)-beta-D-glucopyranosyloxy]-6-methoxy-2H-1-benzopyran-2-one.Institute of Chemistry, Academy of Sciences of the Mongolian Peoples' Republic, Ultan-Bator.
