| Abstract: | The title compound, C25H30NO2+·Cl−, has been synthesized, and the crystal structure shows that it is mainly stabilized through intermolecular N—H·Cl and O—H·Cl and intramolecular N—H·O hydrogen bonds. The absolute configuration of the new stereogenic center (the C atom adjacent to the N atom on the phenol side) was determined to have an R configuration. |
