Note on stress concentration near a sharp corner

The effect of the discontinuous gradient of a boundary on stress distribution has been discussed. It has been shown that a solution for displacement has the formrf(), where 0<<1, giving stress concentration near the discontinuity of gradient.The author expresses his gratitude to Dr. S.C.
