Abstract: | Two-dimensional triple-resonance H(Si)C NMR experiments have been applied at natural abundance to assign 13C NMR signals in silylated phenols. The method showing its great potential in determining positions of hydroxyl groups is widely applicable to signal assignment and structure elucidation of synthetic and natural phenolic compounds. |
